Lost Wax Carving  & Casting (4) Sessions

The Lost Wax Process is a technique used to create jewelry designs through carving shapes in a special hard wax. In this class students will  learn step by step how to create their own unique jewelry designs by carving them in wax.  Once the a design has been carved,  the wax is sent to a professional casting house where the casting process turns the wax to a metal.


  • Explore the different tools that are using in carving wax.
  • Understand the different waxes and how each one can be used to create unique designs.
  • Learn the fundamental skills needed to create a successful model for Lost Wax Casting.
  • Create your own unique designs that will be turned into metal.
