In this hands-on wax carving jewelry course, students learn how to use professional carving tools, shape and refine wax, develop accurate proportions, and prepare an original jewelry design for casting in metal. The course guides students through the essential techniques and workflow used by professional jewelers to transform a design concept into a three-dimensional sculptural form.

Students gain practical experience in jewelry wax carving, model preparation, surface refinement, and the lost-wax casting process. By the end of the course, each completed wax model will be sent to a professional casting house to be transformed into a finished metal jewelry design.
