NEW YORK (PRWEB) JULY 11, 2018
This summer, the New York Jewelry Design Institute (NYJDI) is establishing a highly anticipated event for the city’s social calendar. Facet: Hamptons is the school’s first show, bringing top student talent and established jewelry designers side-by-side for a boutique presentation, with never before seen collections launching exclusively at the Bridgehampton Community House. The show will take place on Saturday, July 28th, from 11:00am-7:30pm, with complimentary admission and an opportunity to meet designers one-on-one to discuss collections and custom work.
Jenine Lepera Izzi, Founder and Creative Director of NYJDI says, “Facet: Hamptons is a show we wanted to bring exclusively to the discerning Hamptons customer. As connoisseurs of fashion, Hamptonites appreciate bespoke over mass production, relishing a unique, behind the scenes opportunity. By offering meet and greets with designers, locals can discuss the stories behind the jewelry during a boutique shopping experience. Our school and designer community work together to foster entrepreneurship and talent, bringing education to life in collection launches. Facet offers luxury jewelry, along an exclusive opportunity to meet with designers regarding further custom work.”
Brochures featuring the show layout and exhibitors are available online, in print at the show, and will be distributed on the Hampton Jitney for riders on Friday, July 13th. Jenine Lepera Izzi says, “Day trippers throughout the Tri-State can easily come out to the show by taking the Jitney, the premier motor coach service to the Hamptons. With stops throughout Manhattan, the Bridgehampton stop is located on the Montauk/South Fork line, located directly in front of the show at Bridgehampton Community House. It is the perfect shopping stop to complement a day, weekend, or week in the neighborhood’s luxury culture.” Hampton Jitney reservations can be made online at https://www.hamptonjitney.com or by calling 631-283-4600.
Seventeen exhibitors will be featured, offering personalized attention to buyers. Renowned and established designers will be available in person alongside the city’s hottest emerging talent, creating an exclusive, unique experience for attendees. The New York Jewelry Design Institute’s circular curriculum, which focuses on the ABCs of Art, Business, and CAD, focuses on helping students launch collections direct to the public through unique events, like Facet. The show offers an exclusive atelier for those wanting a first look at the city’s fresh designer faces. Luxurious and elevated, fine jewelry will be available in gold, silver, platinum, diamonds and colored gemstones. Opportunities will be available to place custom orders with select designers.
Design highlights include celestial inspirations, such as the 18K gold and diamond stardust and constellation rings, as well as the long shadows necklace by Audrius Krulis, and Martha Seely shooting stars stacking rings and bracelets. Everyday staples are elevated with Yusuko Russo’s paperclip-inspired links collection, Annie James’ elegant pendants, and Thomas Kurilla’s statement cuffs. Other designers have a color story, with Original Eve Designs showcasing stunning opal drops from the Azores collection, and Callista by Vinita using sunshine colors for ring inspiration. The opportunity to meet one-on-one with each of these designers and support their talent is offered exclusively through NYJDI’s one day Hamptons event. RSVP to the showcase at https://nyjdi.com/facet-hamptons/. Online or in person registration is free, and requested. The Bridgehampton Community House is located at 2357 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, New York, 11932.
